Re-Covered Books

As a recent convert to Bobby Solomon's excellent The Fox is Black blog, I've been spending a LOT of time trawling the archives and enjoying catching up on posts (especially the Space Suit of the Week ones). If you're at all interested in art and design (and space suits), it's well worth subscribing to.

As well as reporting on projects, Solomon uses the site to instigate them too: the regular Re-Covered Books competition is a great excuse for designers to sink their teeth into literary classics. Some of the entries are downright bloody gorgeous. The current challenge is to re-cover Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451 – something I'll definitely be taking a stab at.
